 | Savoy Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2003
The meticulously farmed vines from Richard Savoy, lay in one of the coolest regions of Anderson Valley just west of the town of Philo. The southwest facing slopes are cooled by the afternoon breezes and coastal effect. We harvest seven different clones and keep them seperate until the final blend is crafted. This dark, lush complex wine displays black fruits, smoked meat and soy all leading to the lengthy palate pleasing finish. Our multi talented winemaker-chef Wells Guthrie, suggests this as the perfect accompaniment to Peking Duck.
